WHO WE ARE
MEET THE TEAM

OnePoint’s team combines some of the most seasoned, connected, and specialized experts in the industry. Our dynamic team is twenty-two strong, bringing together deep multi-disciplinary experi- ence, leadership, and acumen unparalleled in the not-for-profit senior living space.
Being part of One Point gives me the perfect platform to leverage my senior housing experience to support not-for-profit organizations committed to improving the lives of seniors every day.
With over 25 years’ experience in the senior living sector, Denise deFiebre started her career with Retirement Living Services (RLS), a full-service consulting firm that helped more than 20 not-for-profit sponsors develop “greenfield” life plan communities. Denise worked with sponsor Boards of Directors and senior management to match each organizations vision with its unique market, resources and opportunities. Those efforts began with strategic planning, initial assessment of project viability, financial modeling throughout development/marketing, and raising capital to fund project expenses, construction and occupancy through to stabilized operations.
After 13 years with RLS, in 2009 Denise joined Senior Care Development (SCD), a for-profit developer and investor in senior housing. At SCD, Denise’s focus shifted to the acquisition, strategic turnaround and recapitalization of distressed, best in class life plan communities in the aftermath of the Great Recession. The resulting portfolio began with all-cash acquisitions out of bankruptcy followed by strategic asset management that included optimizing revenue, building census, and strategic capital investment to strengthen each community’s market position.
Denise joined One Point in 2023 to provide asset management and advisory services, leveraging her not-for-profit foundation in senior housing with the strategic, hands-on investment and operational focus further cultivated during her time with SCD.
Denise holds a BA in Public Policy from Hamilton College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University’s School of Management with a concentration in Finance.
