"When I think introspectively about my role within One Point individually, as well as One Point’s approach to impacting the senior living industry, I think of a quote by Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”

The “coming together” is the experience and knowledge of the industry of One Point and our clients. The “beginning” is the unlocking of our client’s vision of what their community can achieve. “Keeping together and working together” is the effort and dedication that each stakeholder makes from the earliest informing conversation, pre-construction, financing, construction through to the completion, opening and occupancy of a development project that makes the community’s vision a reality. I am thankful that I have these opportunities of “working together” in a manner that values everyone’s contributions which truly leads to “success.”

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science In Civil Engineering and has more than 23 years of experience in construction management and development in a variety of project types including CCRC repositioning projects, expansions to existing campuses, higher education, science, laboratory and food processing facilities.

Pete’s career has spanned all roles within the construction industry including estimating, project management, risk management and project executive.

Mr. Baldwin has directly managed at risk projects to completion, totaling over $500 million. Pete’s expertise is in the design, coordination, construction and risk management of projects from concept through completion. This includes site evaluation, entitlement approvals, design coordination, constructability analysis, logistic and phasing planning, scheduling, safety, cost control and budgeting, quality control and commissioning. At OnePoint, Mr. Baldwin oversees all aspects of the design, bid and construction process, leading the project team and clients to a valued project that improves the quality of life for the residents of the community.

Q. Who is part of your fur family?

A. Our youngest “son” is a 5 year old golden named Cooper. I claim he is a “champion couch dog” who never seems to have enough attention.

Q. What are your creative outlets?

A. Growing up in Vermont, I have always had a passion for the outdoors so any excuse to be outside from pond hockey, to fishing, to maple sugaring on our property. Anything outdoors in a natural setting is always my favorite outlet.

Q. What inspired you to work at OnePoint?

A. A former client inspired me to work at OnePoint. He had an ability to recognize and build teams, even if it wasn’t a team within his own organization.
