Capital

Positioning your organization’s big picture capital strategy for growth, uncertainty, and reality of a changing world.

As Founding Partner Toby Shea likes to say, “If a strategy is not financeable, then you don’t have a strategy!”

OnePoint goes beyond basic financial feasibility in order to provide an optimal solution for finance-ability.  We use our vast and deep capital relationships and experience to help our clients execute  the most effective capital formation strategy possible.

Our approach is intentionally disruptive. Through this process, we extract the best features of our clients’ operations to align with and maximize their business strategy.

First and foremost, our client is the borrower. Through Toby’s leadership and diverse expertise in the capital markets we are more than the typical financial advisor.

The OnePoint approach involves:

  • OnePoint, through its subsidiary entity Shea Advisory Services, is a Municipal Advisor registered with the SEC.  Our fiduciary responsibility is fully dedicated to the client/sponsor.
  • We frequently solve for structures and sources that are creative and different. We help to finance projects that do not necessarily fit the “strike zone” of more traditional lenders and sources of capital to the industry, thus highlighting our unique and custom OnePoint approach.
  • OnePoint brings capital relationships to source capital for projects that otherwise may not be financeable, would have less desirable terms, or would cost more for the client through more traditional capital formation approaches.
  • We have a distinct specialty with distressed debt and help provide solutions with the best outcomes for sponsors and residents of communities that are stressed/distressed.
